Abstract - 1944 Germany. Ten year old Johannes Betzler, more commonly called Jojo, is the son of good Germans, his father away fighting in Italy, while he is under the care of his mother Rosie, with his older sister Inge recently having passed away from illness. With only one true friend in the form of same aged, bespectacled Yorki, Jojo, in wanting to fit in, is arguably entering what he would consider the most important phase of his young life in attending a Nazi youth camp presided over by Captain Klenzendorf, Captain K's almost too faithful assistant Freddy Finkel, and Fräulein Rahm, who takes Nazi policies in a slightly off-kilter direction. Despite being considered an outsider by most of the other youth in town, Jojo figures he has a leg up on everyone else at camp in that he is constantly being guided by the spirit of Der Führer himself, Adolf Hitler, whose personal bodyguard Jojo aspires to be when he grows up. In his general day-to-day life but also supported by his time at camp, Jojo has a hatred for Jewish people despite not really knowing anything about them or ever having met anyone of the Jewish faith, the ultimate goal to kill them. So when Jojo meets someone Jewish for the first time, especially as that meeting is in what is for him the most unlikely of circumstances, Jojo has to figure out what to do. While truly believing he is a Nazi despite not really knowing what that means, he has to decide either to follow what he has been taught in hating and trying to kill any Jewish person despite knowing that killing is not in his true nature, or not, which may have larger consequences with relation to family. While he decides, he truly gets to know the person beyond the label of "Jewish" which may factor into what happens

Jojo Rabbit is a comedy directed by Taika Watiti who I think has managed to find the perfect dose of comedy that a story needs. This isn't a movie that will only make you laugh, it will also make you emotional and keep you entertained. Stunning performance by the little guy who delivers a variety of feeling to the viewer, followed by a great cast which gives its best. A nice different touch to World War II and nazism, that will give you some moments of pure war drama but most of the time will satirize the situation, being a unique addition to this kind of films. There are for sure boring moments and some cringe worthy essence to the general political situtation in the end, but they aren't enough to lower the quality of a pretty good film, not just as a comedy, but as a movie in general. Totaly recommended for everyone.

Rio también es célebre por su fiesta de carnaval y desfile de agremiaciones - las "escolas de samba". Los museos más sobresalientes son el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Museo de Arte Moderno (MAM), el Museo Indígena y el Museo del Fútbol, en Maracanã, 3º más grande estádio del mundo. San Pablo tiene el Museo de Arte Moderno y el Museo de la Lengua Portuguesa.

La arquitectura brasileña ha destacado con arquitectos de impacto mundial desde el Aleijadinho (Antonio Francisco Lisboa), en la época colonial, hasta Oscar Niemeyer, en el siglo XX.

Música de Brasil

La música popular de Brasil es conocida globalmente, con una gran variedad de manifestaciones y estilos como la samba, la bossa-nova, el choro, el axé, la lambada, el forró, sertaneja, etc, pero también son muy populares estilos importados como el rock. Algunos de los éxitos internacionales más conocidos y representativos de Brasil podrían ser la samba Aquarela do Brasil^[12] (popular) o la bossa-nova "Garota de Ipanema" (The Girl from Ipanema) de Antonio Carlos Jobim, muy conocidos a nivel internacional.

Brasil también tiene una importante tradición en la música clásica. En la época colonial, el nombre más destacado fue el compositor José Maurício Nunes Garcia, con gran repertorio de música sacra y fuertes influencias del clasicismo vienés de Haydn y Mozart. Por el romanticismo, los nombres más conocidos son Elias Álvares Lobo, que escribió la primera ópera brasileña con texto en portugués, A Noite de São João (esp. "La Noche de San Juan"), y Antonio Carlos Gomes, conocido internacionalmente por sus óperas italianas con temática brasileña, como "Il Guarany". Giuseppe Verdi dijo de él, cierta vez: Questo giovane comincia dove finisco io! ("Este muchacho empeza donde termino"). Pero el período moderno fue el más notable, con el nacionalismo brasileño de compositores como Heitor Villa-Lobos y Camargo Guarnieri, y también los movimentos de vanguarda, representados principalmente por Cláudio Santoro.

Cine de Brasil

El cine de Brasil es el más desarrollado en Iberoamérica, muchas en coproducciones con empresas y artistas de otros países, con un importante mercado interior así como filmes que han recibido reconocimiento internacional. Desde las históricas películas Límite (1931) de Mario Peixoto y Orfeo Negro (1959), los cineastas brasileños han producido películas como:

Entre los dramaturgos se destacan Manuel de Araújo Porto-alegre (Pitangueira), Antônio Callado, Nelson Rodrigues, entre muchos otros. La pintura de Brasil ha dado imporantes artistas como Cándido Portinari, Lasar Segall, Manabu Mabe y Frans Krajcberg. En la arquitectura y el urbanismo Oscar Niemeyer se destacó como uno de los exponentes más importantes del mundo, sobresaliendo su proyecto urbanístico para Brasilia. También se han desarrollado artes particulares, como la capoeira, una danza que también es un arte marcial.

CRISTO REDENTOR

Se encuentra situado en la ciudad de Río de Janeiro, Brasil. Viajar al Cristo Redentor en Río de Janeiro es fácil, pues es un sitio turístico que se encuentra ubicado en toda la ciudad, con acceso por aire y por tierra. Para llegar a la estatua se puede acceder en tren o verlo por los elevadores panorámicos. Esta colosal estatua, esta hecha como una de las mejores muestras de arte Deco de 1930. Se encuentra en la cima de una montaña y desde allí la vista a todo el Río de Janeiro con sus islas y playa es espectacular.

Este sitio se encuentra dentro de la votación para las nuevas 7 maravillas del mundo moderno que culminará el día 777, es decir, el 7 de Julio de 2007.  Si es reconocida, tendrá un especial reconocimiento cultural y a nivel mundial.

 CATARATAS DE IGUAZU

Estas caídas majestuosas de agua pertenecen a Brasil y Argentina, países ubicados en la zona de Iguazú. Los turistas llegan durante todo el año para quedar perplejos ante las cataratas, la reserva bien resguardada de flora y fauna y la belleza de su escenario natural.

El rio Iguazú es uno de los mayores afluentes del Paraná, nace en la Serra do Mar (Brasil), cerca de la ciudad de Curitiba. Corre con sus aguas impetuosas por todo el Estado de Paraná, hasta el límite con Argentina, en ese limite territorial, forma las cataratas cuya belleza geográfica es ampliamente reconocida, por esto miles de turistas se desplazan desde cualquier lugar del mundo para apreciar la magnificencia de las Cataratas de Iguazú, y los brasileros y argentinos comparten el privilegio de tenerlas como uno de sus máximos valores naturales y ecológicos.
